Distilled. Issue 5
Whither terroir in whisky? In Issue 5 we look to Westland distillery in the Pacific Northwest and Highland Park on Scotland’s Orkney islands for an answer. We navigate the heat of Jerez as we delve into the auld aulliance between Scotland and sherry, we visit with Maestro Roneros in Cuba and we explore the spirit of Nuyorica in the Bronx. Travel is thirsty work so we close this issue by contemplating the dual personality of the hip flask.
